I've started working on some designs for holiday/Christmas cards. Usually my friends ask me to make theirs, so I decided to get a jump start on them. They are all just the fronts of the cards, I haven't printed any out yet.

Halloween Invitation

DH and I are hosting a trick or treat party on Halloween for our friends to bring their children over to canvas the neighborhood. I wanted something fun and festive, yet not "scary" as all the children are very young, and I don't think it would have gone over well with them. I decided to use leaves as the basis of the design and worked from there. This is what I came up with.

Callie Bradyn

My friends B and M had their baby!

She's so sweet. Her name is Callie Bradyn. For B's shower, I made her a sweet little 4-D ultrasound design. Callie's nursery is done in lavender and sage green, so I wanted to do something that fit with the theme.

This is what I came up with:




Unfortunately, the 4-D isn't the best quality, but the new parents loved it, so thats what matters. Hopefully, when Callie grows up, she'll enjoy it too.




Then, they asked me to do her birth announcements. I tried to go with the sage/lavender theme again, and make it a little more girly, without being overly girly. They absolutely loved them. Also, isn't Callie just a doll?

Captain Peyton's Bash!

My friend A's little boy is having a birthday soon and she wants it to be a pirate theme party. She asked if I could make the invitations for her and, of course, I was more than up for the challenge. So, after thinking a bit, I came up with this.

A loved them, and it seems that Peyton liked them too. Happy birthday kiddo!

Another Wedding Invitation

I made these for a client that got married a few weeks ago. She absolutely loved them, and I'm so glad because I like them too! She and her new husband are both young and fun, so I wanted to give them something that was funky, yet elegant for a wedding. I think that these really showcased both of those aspects of the couple.
